Toby Atticus Fraley: One of the many surprises that came from having the Robot Repair shop in Pittsburgh was the number of interesting, wonderful people I met down there. I hadn’t really expected for the shop to garner the following of repeat visitors that it did. One of those couples that frequented the shop recently came to me with an idea. They were planning to get married and wanted to know if I’d be interested in being their first acquisition of art as a married couple. They wanted a posable robot like the one from the shop for their wedding registry! I was completely flattered that they had this idea and knowing how much they loved that art installation I of course agreed. Before delivering the piece though I had to introduce the robot to his inspiration. They got along quite well during their short visit. Congratulations to the newly married couple! He’s found a great home with you two.
